Sea Isle City, NJ at the Salon

A few weeks ago, before Sea Isle City, NJ was devistated by hurricane Sandy, I spent the day there shooting Veronica and Rays wedding.

This wedding I had greatly looked forward to shooting and editing, because Veronica and Ray want ~95% of their images in B&W. For me this is such a timeless, classic look that will never appear dated, even in 50 years.

I wanted to post a few of my favorite shots from the salon the morning of their wedding.

Deidra and Stephan on the bay

Sunday evening I met with Stephan and Deidra in Ortley Beach and had a lovely engagement session during golden hour on the bay. Deidra who didn't think she photographed well was a natural and produced many great shots with her "modelesque" look. In addition, Stephan and Deidra where fun to work with, and their personalities compliment one another harmoniously. They make a great couple. I look forward to their wedding day in November at The Channel Club in Monmouth Beach, NJ.

Getting Ready at the Stone House

Friday evening I was at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren NJ to photograph Dominic and Marissa exchanging vows.

Marissa and Dominic were such a pleasure to talk with from the very first conversation, up to the end of the evening. I enjoyed every moment working with this fun couple.

I've started going through their images, and immediately wanted to show two of their getting ready shots. I hope you enjoy them, and if you would like to leave feedback, please do.

Looks like it's going to hurt....

I had the pleasure of capturing Paul and Rachel exchange vows this weekend, and then celebrate their reception at The Venice in Berlin, NJ. As soon as I snapped this image, I knew right away I was going to love it and want to share. Disclaimer: no one was hurt (I'll admit, I thought they were going to go over).

Summertime Fun

Summer is here in NJ and we couldn't have asked for better weather. As for that matter, I have to add, the past winter and spring have been more than ideal: considering the beating we've taken the past few years weather wise.

It's time to get out in the yard, or the beach and have some fun every chance we get and run around in the water and enjoy life, by living in the moment.
